Bed Bugs - Protection and Prevention

There are a number of ways you can protect yourself from a bed bug infestation. Some products that help with protection and prevention of bed bugs include:

1. Bed Bug Mattress and Box Spring Encasements

   
   

   Although similar to dust mite encasements, bed bug encasements are specially designed to prevent bed bugs from getting through. Bed bugs and their eggs already inside box springs and mattresses cannot usually be eliminated by traditional pesticides or steam cleaning due to inability to penetrate deep enough through the material.

   By using bed bug encasements and installing ClimbUp^® Insect Interceptors under the legs of the bed, new bed bugs are prevented from entering the bed and bed bugs already in the bed will be trapped and killed.

   These are effective-yet-simple traps for bed bugs that are placed under the feet of beds and couches.
